Revenged Love BL Trailer

Episode 13

Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei swimming

As it turns out, Wu Suo Wei did not come clean yet. I know this is gonna bite him in the butt.

Doc Jiang, on the other hand, his love life is in the pits. First off, he still believes Guo Cheng Yu likes Chi Cheng. Someone come please open Doc Jiang’s eyes ’cause it’s clear as day Guo Cheng Yu likes him!

Wu Suo Wei and Chi Cheng go on their first real date as a couple, and they buy couple watches, go shopping, and even go to a bathhouse and swim afterward. That’s when they have the legendary underwater kissing scene.

Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei Kiss underwater

Wu Suo Wei keeps himself busy at the office to give his back a break because Chi Cheng is insatiable. Chi Cheng, on the other hand, thinks Wu Suo Wei is cheating on him! Fortunately for both of them, Wu Suo Wei is just at the office making a new home for Chi Cheng’s snake. Cute, right?

Episode 14

Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei

Chi Cheng goes home to celebrate New Year’s, and Wu Suo Wei goes to his home too. At dinner, Chi Cheng is pestered by his uncle about marriage and he gets so bored that he leaves and goes to Wu Suo Wei’s home. They have dinner and later go outside to light firecrackers. Chi Cheng is so in love with his boyfriend that he can’t help himself and leans in for a kiss. That’s when fireworks light up in the back. So freaking romantic!

Jiang Xiao Shuai and Guo Cheng Yu

Doc Jiang also is not too lonely this year. Guo Cheng Yu comes to celebrate New Year’s with him. They’re quite adorable, these two.

In this episode, we also find out more about Doc Jiang’s trauma. Apparently, that dude, Meng Tao, used to take advantage of male students and used his power as a teacher over boys, including Doc Jiang, to sexually assault them and then later accuse them of promiscuity. What a scumbag!

Guo Cheng Yu tracked down Meng Tao, and after receiving a severe beating, Meng Tao tries to apologize for what he did to Doc Jiang, but Doc Jiang is not ready to forgive him. I hope this will at least get Doc Jiang to stop with his delusion that Guo Cheng Yu likes Chi Cheng because it’s so clear that Guo Cheng Yu likes him.

And also, guess who’s back? Wang Shuo, Chi Cheng’s ex-boyfriend. Is he gonna bring trouble? Guo Cheng Yu doesn’t waste time trying to stir up trouble. He texts Chi Cheng an image of Wang Shuo and tells him Wang Shuo wants to meet up. Doc Jiang also tells Wu Suo Wei about Wang Shuo’s arrival, and Wu Suo Wei is definitely now stressed. I mean, this was Chi Cheng’s first love. How’s this gonna play out? Will they weather the storm or crumble?

Thankfully, as of now, crisis averted. Chi Cheng manages to reassure Wu Suo Wei that he has no interest in Wang Shuo anymore.

But then, Chi Cheng, Guo Cheng Yu, and Wang Shuo go out. They drink quite a lot. They also reminisce about their past. The way the episode ended is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. I don’t know about Guo Cheng Yu and Wang Shuo’s intentions. I just hope I’m being skeptical and that no heartbreak will result from this meetup for anyone involved.

Episode 15

Wang Shuo and Wu Suo Wei

I was right! Wang Shuo was up to no good. He followed Chi Cheng and tried to get Chi Cheng to sleep with him. Dude, you cheated and left the love of your life for seven years. But thankfully, nothing comes of his attempts. He gets knocked out by some guy who takes him away.

Doc Jiang tells Wu Suo Wei to visit Wang Shuo at the hospital since he was knocked out last night. This scene was so infuriating. Of all the ideas Doc Jiang has ever come up with, this was the worst one yet.

Wu Suo Wei goes to the hospital and when he’s leaving, he sees Chi Cheng’s car. He calls Chi Cheng, and he says he’s with a client. This is where misunderstandings start. In reality, Chi Cheng is at the hospital with Wu Suo Wei’s mom, who’s sick. I wonder why the two are lying to Wu Suo Wei. Wu Suo Wei’s mom is seriously ill with pancreatic cancer. The doctor says it’s far too gone. This is just sad. I feel bad for Wu Suo Wei when he finds out.

We’re now deep in misunderstanding territory. Doc Jiang advises Wu Suo Wei to spy on Chi Cheng to see if he’s cheating on him with Wang Shuo. At the worst time possible, Wu Suo Wei arrives just to witness Wang Shuo forcing a kiss on Chi Cheng. Wu Suo Wei is visibly broken and I don’t know when they’re gonna remedy this situation because it’s so freaking frustrating.

Jiang Xiao Shuai and Guo Cheng Yu

Chi Cheng leaves Wang Shuo after he gets a call from the hospital to see Wu Suo Wei’s mom. Wu Suo Wei goes, I don’t know where, while crying. Wang Shuo for some reason goes and has a sleepover at Doc Jiang’s place. That was so random. The following day, Guo Cheng Yu comes to Doc Jiang’s place and he throws Wang Shuo out. They share their first kiss. This felt random, too. Did Wang Shuo have to be the catalyst of their relationship developing?

My main couple’s story is in the pits. Chi Cheng was unable to explain where he was or what he was doing. Wu Suo Wei is still heartbroken.

Wang Shuo goes to see Wu Suo Wei. This episode was so frustrating. I’m freaking mad.

Episode 16

Chi Cheng with Wu Suo Wei

Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei’s relationship and their communication is still so poor at this time. Wu Suo Wei thinks Chi Cheng cheated. Wang Shuo goes to Wu Suo Wei’s office in the guise of wanting his house decorated. He leaves his address and the door code. When Wu Suo Wei arrives, a laptop is open on the table, displaying a folder of videos. The videos don’t paint Chi Cheng in a good light. Furthermore, the videos insinuate that Chi Cheng likes Guo Cheng Yu.

Was Doc Jiang onto something after all? I personally don’t think so. But we’ll see. Wu Suo Wei even takes a copy of the videos on his flash drive. He later shows Doc Jiang the video of Chi Cheng saying Guo Cheng Yu is the most important person to him.

Wu Suo Wei also enlists Wang Shuo’s brother to be his boxing teacher. I don’t know what he’s trying to do, because this puts him with Wang Shuo in such close proximity.

Wang Shuo is really having a field day messing with Chi Cheng. He sends Chi Cheng photos of Wu Suo Wei training with his brother Wang Zhen. The photos look very incriminating. But we also find out this is exactly what Wu Suo Wei wants. He wants Chi Cheng to break up with him.

Anywho, Chi Cheng has no intention of breaking up with Wu Suo Wei. He comes to Wang Shuo and takes Wu Suo Wei away.

He takes Wu Suo Wei back to his BDSM den, where Wu Suo Wei gets devoured, 50 Shades of Grey style.

But don’t be fooled. We’re still deep in the misunderstandings galore. Chi Cheng thinks Wu Suo Wei is cheating with Wang Zhen, and Wu Suo Wei thinks Chi Cheng is cheating with Wang Shuo. What a shitshow!

Episode 17

Chi Cheng with Wu Suo Wei's sick mom

Wu Suo Wei’s mother is still at the hospital. She still doesn’t want Chi Cheng to tell Wu Suo Wei. I think that’s very selfish of her, despite the fact that she’s very sick. Because now, Chi Cheng has to bear all this burden by himself, and his relationship with Wu Suo Wei is rocky right now.

The following day, Chi Cheng gets home. He still thinks Wu Suo Wei is cheating on him with Wang Zhen. He kicks out Wu Suo Wei. OMG!

Wu Suo Wei goes back home. He finds his mom is sick. But he still doesn’t know that she has cancer.

Wang Shuo goes to Chi Cheng’s place. He wants to get back together, but Chi Cheng says he’s not interested. Wang Shuo asks Chi Cheng to say out loud that he no longer loves him, but Chi Cheng is unable to. YIKES! Wang Shuo leaves with a smug look on his face. I don’t know what this dude wants. I don’t think he’s really genuinely interested in getting back together with Chi Cheng. I think he just wants to mess up Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei’s relationship.

Yue Yue is back. I had not missed her one bit. I hope she won’t bring trouble. But I know I’m lying to myself. That girl’s last name is Trouble!

After 10 days of not talking—remember, since Chi Cheng kicked out Wu Suo Wei—they meet at work. Now, why the hell are they behaving all lovey-dovey as if they didn’t have this massive issue? Please, someone, come take these two to some communication 101 class! They even go back home to their BDSM den and I guess they solved their issues physically? I’m so miffed right now.

Episode 18

Wu Suo Wei and his mom

Wang Shuo knows about Wu Suo Wei and Yue Yue’s previous relationship, and now he’s blackmailing him with that information since he knows Chi Cheng isn’t aware. I don’t know what Wang Shuo is trying to achieve with this, but argh, this is so annoying. This whole matter has been dragged on for so long in the show now. I want it over and done with ASAP.

On Guo Cheng Yu’s birthday, everyone is there. And when Wu Suo Wei arrives at the party, he sees Wang Zhen throw water on Wang Shuo. Chi Cheng sees text messages between Wu Suo Wei and Wang Zhen, and he gets jealous and starts beating up Wang Zhen. When Wu Suo Wei sees this, he thinks Chi Cheng is defending Wang Shuo. He gets mad and leaves. Arggh! I’m so tired of these silly misunderstandings now. I didn’t sign up for angst.

Wu Suo Wei goes to Wang Shuo’s house and goes snooping on his laptop. That’s where he finds out that Wang Shuo never slept with Guo Cheng Yu. It was just a setup because of his jealousy.

Chi Cheng, while looking for Wu Suo Wei, goes to his mom’s place, and that’s where he finds out from her that Yue Yue wants to get back together with Wu Suo Wei. This also comes as a shock to Chi Cheng because he didn’t know Wu Suo Wei and Yue Yue dated. Chi Cheng even finds out Wu Suo Wei’s original plan of breaking up Chi Cheng and Yue Yue. Oh, this is bad. I don’t like it.

I don’t know how to express the amount of frustration I have towards Wu Suo Wei right now. Dude sees it fit to lie to Chi Cheng that he never felt any affection towards him. What’s this? For real, WHAT’S THIS?!

And they have broken up! Wu Suo Wei, why are you crying? Isn’t this what you wanted? SMH! I’m so pissed at Wu Suo Wei and this whole situation. Dude has his face so far up his ass, he doesn’t even know his mom is unwell.

Chi Cheng goes to Wang Shuo’s place, and finally, he’s able to tell him to his face that he’s no longer in love with him. But what’s this gonna do? They’ve already broken up with Wu Suo Wei.

Wu Suo Wei finally finds out his mom is sick. Chi Cheng doesn’t pick up the call as the emergency contact. I wonder how Wu Suo Wei will react to this news.

Episode 19

Chi Cheng with Wu Suo Wei's sick mom at the hospital

Wu Suo Wei visits his mom at the hospital. He’s heartbroken, but at least he knows his mom’s situation, and he’s there for her. Chi Cheng comes to visit, too, but he doesn’t want Wu Suo Wei to see him.

Wang Zhen comes to see Wu Suo Wei and his mom at the hospital, and he even flies in a doctor from the US. I don’t know what Wang Zhen’s intentions are.

Chi Cheng meets Wu Suo Wei at their art company, and the situation is so tense. They don’t even talk.

Guo Cheng Yu and Doc Jiang, at least, are still together, and they have little drama, unlike our main couple. Thank heavens!

Jiang Xiao Shuai with Guo Cheng Yu

Chi Cheng goes to the hospital to see Wu Suo Wei’s mom, and it seems she has realized the nature of their relationship. She tells Chi Cheng they should be good to each other.

Wu Suo Wei’s mom asks Wu Suo Wei to be released from the hospital even though she’s not well. They go home, cook some food, and while resting outside, she passes away in her sleep. Wu Suo Wei finds her. This is just sad. He can’t catch a break from all this sadness.

Episode 20

Chi Cheng hugging Wu Suo Wei

Wu Suo Wei conducts a burial for his mother. Chi Cheng attends, though he leaves before Wu Suo Wei even sees him.

Wu Suo Wei is alone at home, mourning his mother and burning incense for both his parents, when Chi Cheng comes. He says some mean words to him to try to get Wu Suo Wei to cry, and it works. They make up after. I don’t know how healthy this is, but they have both gone through hell and back. I just hope things go smoothly for them henceforth.

They stay for a few days at Wu Suo Wei’s home, and Chi Cheng is there at Wu Suo Wei’s beck and call.

After their home stay, they even go for a trip. Aw, so cute.

They come back from the trip, and life is back to normal. The only problem is, Guo Cheng Yu has not been able to hook up with Doc Jiang so far because Doc Jiang is too strict. Now, it’s up to Wu Suo Wei and Chi Cheng to help them out. They come up with a plan, and it… doesn’t work!

Episode 21

Wu Suo Wei with Chi Cheng's dad

Wu Suo Wei and Chi Cheng come up with plan B, and this time, it works. Doc Jiang finally gets his cherry popped!

They later go camping, and Doc Jiang tells Wu Suo Wei that Wang Shuo and Wang Zhen are not biologically related. That Wang Zhen was adopted. Their camping seems so fun, though. If not for the last tidbit about Wang Zhen and Wang Shuo, which I’m not interested in, we should just end the show here. Just look how much fun they’re having.

Wu Suo Wei, Chi Cheng, Jiang Xiao Shuai, and Guo Cheng Yu outside camping

Wu Suo Wei gets kidnapped after he had gone to visit his mom’s grave. The kidnapper is none other than his father-in-law, AKA Chi Cheng’s dad!

Since Wu Suo Wei suddenly goes missing, Guo Cheng Yu quickly figures out that maybe Chi Cheng’s dad had something to do with his disappearance. Chi Cheng sees that it’s plausible and goes looking for his lover.

The kidnapped and the kidnapper surprisingly have a very funny dynamic. Wu Suo Wei is not getting mistreated by Chi Cheng’s dad. I didn’t see that coming.

Wu Suo Wei tries to use their couple watches to tell Chi Cheng where he’s at, but Chi Cheng cannot decipher the code. Hahaha. Chi Cheng even gets help from both Doc and Guo Cheng Yu, but they still don’t know. Doc Jiang even gets it totally wrong. LOL.

Episode 22

Chi Cheng with Wu Suo Wei

Is Chi Cheng’s dad playing around with Wu Suo Wei? The guy wants to take Wu Suo Wei to tour his companies. Haha, isn’t this so father-in-law-coded? Thankfully, before they leave, Chi Cheng comes, knocks out the bodyguards and Wu Suo Wei manages to escape.

They go back home and life continues as usual.

Chi Cheng goes home to visit his family. He has a talk with his dad about his relationship with Wu Suo Wei and his future. The talk doesn’t go very well, but I think the dad will have a lot to think about regarding his son being a grown-up worthy of making his own decisions.

Chi Cheng takes Dou Dou, his nephew, to meet Wu Suo Wei. AAHHHHH! They are so cute. Wu Suo Wei is very good with the kid, too.

Chi Cheng is arrested for tax evasion and embezzlement! Where is this even coming from? Is it for the betterment of the plot? Either way, it’s infuriating. My boys can’t catch a break. Apparently, the mastermind is Wang Zhen Long, Yue Yue’s ex-boyfriend. Jeez!

Episode 23

Wu Suo Wei with Jiang Xiao Shuai

Wu Suo Wei goes looking for Wang Zhen Long and begs him to stop framing Chi Cheng, but Wang Zhen Long refuses. He wants to enact his revenge on Chi Cheng.

Wu Suo Wei then goes to Chi Cheng’s parents trying to beseech them to help out Chi Cheng. Chi Cheng’s mom is mad and the dad doesn’t want to help, seeing the situation as Chi Cheng’s punishment.

Chi Cheng is still in jail and the company is closed. Wu Suo Wei is forced to go back to selling blown sugar candy figurines.

Wu Suo Wei, while selling candy, sees Mr. Lin, their previous employee. After an altercation, Mr. Lin confesses to being paid by Wang Zhen Long to falsify records. In order to exonerate Chi Cheng, Mr. Lin blackmails Wu Suo Wei. He asks to be paid 5 million Yuan to turn himself in.

Wu Suo Wei sells his mother’s house to obtain the 5 million Yuan. He sells way below market value, but he’s desperate. It’s crazy that Wu Suo Wei has to resort to selling his inheritance when Chi Cheng’s family is overly wealthy and could help him out without causing a dent in their wealth.

Wu Suo Wei goes to jail to visit Chi Cheng. He pours his heart out like never before. He tells Chi Cheng about the sale of the house, and Chi Cheng is not happy about it. He even tells Wu Suo Wei he hates him. Oh my god. This is just infuriating. We’re just one more episode to go, and they’re still like this. Will there really be a happy ending?

Episode 24

Chi Cheng with Wu Suo Wei

Chi Cheng’s parents visit Wu Suo Wei’s candy stall. And Wu Suo Wei blows a rabbit candy figurine for Mrs. Chi. She has definitely come around to the thought of her son and Wu Suo Wei dating.

Chi Cheng manages to send Wu Suo Wei a note saying he doesn’t actually hate him.

Chi Cheng is then released after Mr. Lin turns himself in. Wu Suo Wei doesn’t go to pick him up, but his parents, Guo Cheng Yu and Doc Jiang go.

When Chi Cheng finally goes to see Wu Suo Wei, tell me why this guy gets there with a water cannon to spray his friends and his boyfriend. It’s fun all around, though.

Later, they go back home, and this is the first time they seem like a normal couple. Finally.

On the other side, my lovely couple, Guo Cheng Yu and Doc Jiang, are THRIVING! Guo Cheng Yu even helps Doc Jiang expand his clinic as his betrothal gift. Such couple goals!

Wu Suo Wei is finally accepted by the Chi family, by the way. Even if the father won’t admit it. And is this foreshadowing of these two becoming parents? Just look at them with their little nephew.

And, Chi Cheng buys back Wu Suo Wei’s mom’s house. He surprises Wu Suo Wei, and it’s so romantic and heartwarming.

This is their happy ever after. I’m gonna remember them exactly like this for all eternity.
