Since I started watching BLs, Taiwanese BL series have been a favorite of mine.

Unknown follows Wei Qian, who, after losing his parents, assumes the responsibility of caring for his biological sister, Wei Li Li, and adopted brother, Wei Zhi Yuan. Despite his dedication to providing for his family, his world is thrown into turmoil when Wei Zhi Yuan unexpectedly kisses him, sparking emotional confusion. 

To manage the growing tension, Wei Qian sends Zhi Yuan abroad. As their relationship teeters on the edge of what society views as taboo, the story explores whether Wei Qian can come to terms with his emotions or if the situation will spiral further out of control. Adapted from a novel by Priest, this series explores the delicate complexities of love, family, and self-discovery.

AntiReset is a classic human falls in love with a robot. But it’s not that simple. Chu Yi Ping is known for his emotional detachment. Let’s Talk About Chu

Let’s Talk About Chu is a Taiwanese romantic comedy that boldly explores the complexities of modern relationships, intimacy, and sex. The story centers on Chu Ai, a part-time vlogger and wax technician, who runs a YouTube channel advocating for open discussions on sex, with her personal mantra being “Only sex, no love.” 

While Chu Ai navigates her journey to becoming an online sex therapist, she is entangled in a complicated relationship with Ping Ke, a wealthy businessman who agrees to follow her strict rules about physical intimacy.

The series also delves into the lives of Chu Ai’s siblings, with her older sister, Wei, who is facing her own challenges in maintaining intimacy in her marriage. The series is lauded for its candid discussions about sex, tackling topics like sexual satisfaction, STIs, and pornography, all with sensitivity and authenticity. It also offers moments of humor and heartfelt family dynamics, making it both an entertaining and thought-provoking show.

With its fresh take on love and relationships, Let’s Talk About Chu provides a refreshing mix of humor, sincerity, and emotional depth.

The On1y One

​Sheng Wang’s life turns upside down when he transfers to a new high school and immediately clashes with Jiang Tian, his assertive classmate. However, things take an unexpected turn when their parents get married, making the two boys stepbrothers.
